Terms of Use

1. The service

We offer medical telemedicine consultations (video-call appointments) with Dr. Laura Morais, CRM SP 210578. Telemedicine is regulated by Brazil's Federal Council of Medicine. The site's informational content is educational and does not replace a consultation.

2. Not an emergency service

The consultation is not intended for urgent or emergency situations. In case of a life-threatening risk, seek immediate in-person care or call your local emergency number (in Brazil, SAMU 192).

3. Booking and payment

The consultation costs R$ 250 and lasts about 50 minutes. The slot is confirmed only after the Pix payment clears. You will receive confirmation and the video call link by email.

4. Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds

You may reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made up to 24 hours in advance are fully refunded (100%).

Rescheduling or cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide truthful information when booking and to be, at the scheduled time, in a private setting with an internet connection suitable for the video call.

6. Limits of telemedicine

Any decision on conduct, tests or prescriptions is always medical and individualized. Certain situations may require in-person assessment; when that is the case, you will be advised.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, images and visual identity of this site belong to Dr. Laura Morais and may not be reproduced without authorization.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate jurisdiction, including the patient's domicile where consumer-protection law applies.
