Dr. Laura Morais

I am a physician trained at Uninassau (Recife, Brazil), specialized in medical cannabis at UNIFESP — one of Brazil's leading references in the field. I see patients across Brazil by telemedicine — as well as Brazilians living abroad — in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

I chose integrative medicine because I believe no symptom exists in isolation: pain, sleep, emotional health and daily routine influence each other all the time. That is why my consultations take real time — to hear the whole story, review what has been tried and build, together with each patient, a plan that fits real life.

In cannabis medicine I work from the scientific literature and Brazilian regulation, transparent about what science already knows and what is still under study. Medical cannabis is not a miracle promise: it is a therapeutic tool that, in the right cases and with proper follow-up, can be part of care.
