Conditions we treat
Fibromyalgia
Widespread pain, constant tiredness and sleep that doesn't rest: fibromyalgia is real, has a name and has proper care.
What it is
Fibromyalgia is a widespread chronic pain syndrome, usually accompanied by fatigue, non-restorative sleep, memory and concentration changes and heightened pain sensitivity. It mainly affects women and often takes years to be correctly diagnosed.
Because it involves several body systems, effective care usually combines approaches: medication, adapted physical activity, sleep hygiene and emotional health.
Signs it may be time to seek an assessment
- Pain all over the body for months or years
- Waking up tired even after sleeping
- Brain fog (difficulty concentrating and remembering)
- Heightened sensitivity to touch, cold or stress
How the assessment works
The consultation starts from your story: how long the pain has existed, how you sleep, your energy levels and what has been tried. The goal is a realistic plan, with small milestones and continuous follow-up.
In selected cases, cannabinoids may be considered within that plan, in line with Anvisa regulation and with periodic reassessment of your response.
Frequently asked questions
Can fibromyalgia be cured?
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition, but that does not mean living without quality of life. Care aims to control symptoms and restore function, with a plan adjusted to your routine.
Does telemedicine work for fibromyalgia?
Yes. Fibromyalgia diagnosis and follow-up are essentially clinical — based on conversation and history — and adapt well to the online format, sparing you travel on flare days.
