Conditions we treat

Chronic pain

Pain that persists for more than three months deserves an assessment that sees the whole person — not just the symptom.

What it is

Chronic pain is pain that persists for more than three months, even after the initial cause has been treated — or without a single identifiable cause. It affects sleep, mood, work and relationships, so treatment needs to go beyond painkillers.

The most common presentations include back pain, neuropathic pain (burning or electric-shock sensations), frequent migraines and persistent joint pain.

Signs it may be time to seek an assessment

How the assessment works

During the consultation we review the full history of your pain: previous exams and diagnoses, treatments already tried and the impact on daily life, including sleep and emotional health.

Medical cannabis may be considered as part of the treatment plan in selected cases, always grounded in the scientific literature, Brazilian regulation and each patient's individual response — followed closely at return visits.

Frequently asked questions

Does medical cannabis replace my current medication?

Not necessarily. Any medication change is assessed case by case, gradually and under supervision. Never stop an ongoing treatment on your own.

Do I need a confirmed diagnosis before booking?

No. Bring whatever exams and reports you have — part of the consultation is precisely organizing that history and defining next steps.
